One of the rare occasions where all of our front 4 struggled with their touch and decision making. And it doesn’t help with our current midfielders. We need Keita and we need a deep lying play maker.
4 points lost. That should have been our cushion heading into the Christmas fixtures. Let's hope it's not the start of another winter collapse!
Last year we were 1st/2nd before our collapse and finished 4th. We cannot afford to collapse and lose 2-3 positions from our current position this year
It wasn't a shocking decision at all. They spoke about it on MOTD last night and there was a directive sent to referees after the Arsenal handball goal at Burnley last season. So if you're scoring a goal with your hand whether intentional or not, it's doesn't count. So you can stop cry arseing now.
Nowhere near the hand Tobes, not even sure there was any upper arm either. What the ref saw is a mystery
please log in to view this image If it was intentional or not, it hit his arm. If he was carded then that would be harsh.
I don't think it was a goal, I could go into the why and some would agree some wouldn't. Not a pen for Everton though.
It's got nothing to do with intent Dribs. It went off his arm into the net, it therefore doesn't count
Well, Organic Red claimed it didn't go near his hand or upper arm... "Nowhere near the hand Tobes, not even sure there was any upper arm either." ... so it kind of does prove something
We've not lost at home but we have by far the largest number (5) of draws. In the league going undefeated is useless unless there are not draws. We could have lost 2 of those 5, even 3 and got more points. Unless we turn some of those into wins, we get forget about a CL place next season. We are lucky that Arsenal are also dropping points
"Nowhere near" is a figure of speech isn't it? Bit pedantic there. The picture doesn't "prove" it was handball, which is the salient point. As I've said, I'm not disputing the decision, just pointing out that photographic evidence is not always conclusive. I shouldn't need to point out that a 2 dimensional image doesn't render a 3d space accurately. please log in to view this image
