Shocker of a post that like, given he's bagged braces against 'no hopers' like Arsenal and Chelsea of late

The lad's in **** hot form and scoring all sorts of goals

Unlike most on here, I'll be honest enough to admit I got it wrong though. He's scored more league goals than I thought.

Yes he is,but the real test comes next season when defences have had a real good look at his game and sussed his
    weak points.
He's an exciting talent that's for sure, and a youngster playing with no fear or apprehension.

The way he plays he will always have chances though. He works his socks off upfront and never gives the defence a rest, you will always get chances if you do that.

The 25-year-old has made three substitute appearances following his comeback, and the manager refused to give anything away when it came to questions about a role from the off against Tottenham.
"You'll see tomorrow night," said Rodgers. "He's in a condition where he has been training for a little bit of time. There'll be a time where he will be able to start, whether it's tomorrow or whether it's at the weekend, you'll have to wait and see."

My guess would be that's a yes he will start...

That's as maybe, but decrying his goal tally this season with an inaccurate put down was a tad 'astro'

(Which he's taken back in fairness ;))

ah but you are behind the times dear fellow... that was ancient history just as your own early season worries is ancient history.

Basically.... sure 3 at the back good or bad is a fine debate. All I can say is for good or bad it gets the BEST THIS YEAR out of what LFC have available THIS YEAR. Last year it would not have worked, in fact it did not work. 2 up front worked last year for us. This year we needed to get other players working better

Our game is no based on negating anyone, we rely on two things. first lucas in particular tracking runs and individuals taking responsibility but second and most important the other 3/4 players working very hard pressing and covering.

I'm not sure but If another system coutinho would be benched and sterling would be an awful waster. Henderson we wasted for 3/4 months this year.... now all their best attributes are brought forth.

It works for us across the 11 players we've got. No its probably not the best system but if we can but Chelsea on the back foot for 180 minutes albeit with a total lack of ability in the no 9 role then it shows it troubles teams...

My prediciton is that if LFc are not out of sight by 60 mins we will lose it as the record of late goals and 90min performances spurs have put in is spectacular... I would point to swansea away for the example. spurs with respect robbed swansea blind that day 2-1 score cos swansea couldn't put it away.... sounds like lfc to me.

I like him too but i must agree.

every goal in prem is worth 5 in that comp so his prem record is what i look at. my info is 12 in 20 which is very good indeed... more than 1 in 2. The EL can be ignored as We reds can say even f'n n'gog could score i nthat comp.

I think in general team will be taking a good look and he'll have to keep improving cos its one thing in the cut and thrust of a season to have a run but you find the next season teams have you figured out and thats when quality really shines.

Kane has been good but Erikssen is the real threat as he keeps them ticking over, disappointed Lucas is not available to get in around him. I think he'll have space in front of our defence and he may hurt us.

At the other end we need to be sharp and get the goals we are more than capable of winning this.

so we have won all of our last three games against spurs with an aggregate 12-0. 0-5,4-0,0-3, what are the odds of a 2-0 tonight??

Raheem Sterling is out of tonight's Liverpool-Tottenham match with the foot injury which caused him to come off against Everton on Saturday.

got to be Ibe. My concern is no Lucas. Do we put Can as defensive mid, then who goes at the back Lovren?, Johnson?

Probably BR will play Allen instead of Lucas, god help us if he does.

Sterling out, lLucas out. That means Gerrard and Allen to play which means we will lose.

Play Ibe as RWB and push Markovic into an advanced position.

Rodgers came out and said he has no plans to move Can into midfield, so we'll likely to see Allen come in.
