For those watching online: http://nutjob.eu/njtvx2.html A depleted Spurs side are currently 1-0 up via a Ceballos effort, which the keeper probably should've dealt with.
" A depleted Spurs side are currently 1-0 up via a Ceballos effort, which the keeper probably should've dealt with." Vigouroux as GK (ooh er) .
Slightly worrying that he's started instead of Archer. Not sure that's a good sign for Lloris' fitness, but I could be completely misreading things.
Archer is now #3 with Miles on loan. So Vigouroux is going to be U21s #1. I have been told he is much better than what his Nextgen mare suggests.
Decent strike from Laste Dombaxe. Not long swtiched over but we seem to be playing the ball around well, Liverpool look a bit nervous so far.
The Poool are getting compressed in their final third (much like the PL game) . This is a weaker Poool lineup compared to the reverse fixture, but tis also the case for Spurs. But again, you can see the ball-playing ethos the Academy are drilling into the players.
2-0. Superbly worked goal with some lovely passing and movement, with Ceballos putting away a free header from a cross.
Lovely leave there to give space on the left. Another thing you will see with the U21s is they often go for the jugular from these positions.
They really do seem to be pushing to kill this off. Nice football, positive play, comfortable on the ball. Fairly impressive, especially as the team's changed so much during the season. Great run out from the back by McEvoy and Coulthirt's shot should've been better.
Coulthirst looks very disappointed to go off, but he's missed several chances in this half. Good movement and workrate, though. On comes Jack Munns, who looks about 14.
Poor choice there by Ceballos. Plenty of men in the box and a **** angle. Shouldn't have shot. All Spurs at the moment, though.
