Leave it to Liverpool to take their **** season out on a nice team like us...lol .Good luck , you guys were playing way below your level and Rogers deserves a bit of pressure off but it would have been nice if it started next game . I think Liverpool may revive their season after this display , a real confidence builder ..cheers
Defo better than 3-0 spurs A decent hard working competitive display, got our breaks too If we work this hard v Leicester we should win so my view is reward performance here and change as little as possible
I'm not convinced watching it again is in the best interest of the referee. Unless, of course, you are suggesting the referee doesn't always make the best decision he possibly can
Very good performance. Amazing what happens when you play actual wings backs in wing back positions, drop Gerrard, move Hendo into a central role and give Can more minutes. Moreno, Manquillo and Can all came into this team and didn't look out of place. Hopefully rodgers now sees that it's not the youngsters who have let us down this season. Without Gerrard in the team, we kept the ball better and controlled large majority of the game. It's so evident - there is no way Gerrard can get back into this team on merit. Was good seeing Can play, although I rather he played as DM. But he is such an intelligent footballer and he slotted into the back line with ease. Along with Sakho, he can start attacks and carry the ball out of the defence. Given Lallana a lot of stick but I thought it was his best performance so fair play. However, Coutinho was the MOTM by a big distance.
Well who's in for a bump back down to reality then? We made you look like Barcelona, never thought that was possible, but the reality is your crap............... PS: And just incase you shout your mouth off, we are Crap too!
Skilful but no discipline. Still say he was fitted up when sent off for us against Utd a couple of seasons ago, though.
I'm suggesting the are all self serving cowardly ****s who avoid decisions all the time.... **** I'd have the missus watching the game and texting me if Garry Neville said anything bad
on the Stirling one the linesman didn't flag for anything, and he must have seen it, then one of the officials saw the incident and did nothing about it therefore Stirling should get away with it.
Well that was a bit more enjoyable, now we just need Rodgers to move Can forward to play with Henderson and get Sturridge fit. Sahko can keep Lovren on the sidelines for the foreseeable future too.
Player ratings Mingolet-6 Did ok couple of decent saves and claims. But his kicking.....! Manquilla-7 think he has performed well and di so again tonight. Good cross for first goal and covered back well MORENO-7. Did really well first half, scored and was constant threat. Quieter second half but defended ok. Can-8 hardly put a foot wrong and bought some much needed composure. Still prefer to see him as DM Skrtel-6 usual bag , can look really solid then do stupid things like unnecessarily getting booked Sakho-7. As above, better passing though and a couple of tricks Lucas -6 looks fitter but still appears to run out of steam around 70 min mark Henderson -7 much prefer him playing here. Looking back to his best. Lallana-9 brilliant second goal and for much of second half was the player we expected Courthino -9. Would have just edged MOM for me. Unplayable at times and kept us moving forward Sterling -8 tireless and unlucky not to score Gerrard -10. Played a blinder by staying on the bench and not coming on and slowing us down. Think he should play this position every week.
Yep, I said earlier in this thread that if the lino didn't see it he should be instantly sacked. He was practically stood inbetween the two players watching them
Really looking forward to seeing Can Toure Sakho defence with Moreno and Manquillo as wing backs. Thanks to injuries and suspensions, Rodgers has stumbled upon his best team. With Sturridge back in Jan and only 5 points off 4th, 2015 looks promising.

I don't want to shout my mouth off but I thought we were great. we had a good pressing game without the ball and shut your players down by getting 2 or 3 of our players around you. I thought Gomes(?) when he come on was a real threat.
Poor you So hateful you can't admit lfc more than matched you for effort. Compared to the turd of a game we played v burnley that was 1000 times better in effort
Typical really. It's like when the commentator kept saying Sakho's pass was risky but it was calmly played and it got us out of trouble on a couple of occasions.
