Apologies to other posters but I can't let this lie. We need to be crystal clear on what we can and can't say on this forum because it's changing by the day it seems to me.

Valley, check the history. PGF was abusive to BK - a decent poster who rarely has issues with anyone here. Bullyboy tactics that are his calling card. That was the 'first punch' as you put it, but hey don't let facts get in the way right?

So now being 'condescending' to someone is now a breach of the rules? If that's right, Daiswan couldn't post here. According to swanselona, saying "You're talking ****" is OK though. So you can say someone is talking **** but you mustn't be condescending? Really? Come off it. If this is right, you'd better put up a sticky, like today.

FYI I already chose your option two (remove offending posts) but was met by a threat of a ban from swanselona when I politely asked for a post containing language in breach of the rules (even yours that you make up as you go along) to be removed. Nice one.

Now let's move on - seems to me this always happens when that poster visits here. Please let me know if the rules are going to be ignored in future and I'll simply, and quite happily let rip.

From what I can see, the issue surrounding PGF and BK looks sorted. There was no need for you to get involved and stoke the flames.

On my other point, is 'condescending' out of bounds now then? If so, does that mean we can retaliate? Would be nice to know, like. Oh, and you'd better let Daiswan know that virtually all of his posts will be breaking the rules.

If you hadn't belittled PGF he wouldn't have called you a 'condescending prick' and thus there'd be no drama on here.

So why are you still moaning. As you have said, you won't let it lie. I gave my solution, both of you get a ban or we draw a line and move on. The ball is firmly in your court.

 

I'm happy to draw a line with PGF because he is an inconsequential nobody. But you're a mod here and now you're threatening me with a ban not for what's happened before but for having a conversation with you here that doesn't break any rules when I've asked you to take it to PM? Have I got that right? Or are you referring to something else? If so, what?

By the way, next time you order posters to 'take it to PM' I'll remind you of this conversation.

I haven't threatened anyone with a ban. I clearly stated that banning you along with PGF was one of two options. I took the second option.

Time to draw a line under it and move on. Everyone else has.

 

Fair enough Valley. I've got no problem with the rules so long as they are applied fairly. I hope you at least see my point that PGFs post wasn't removed when it clearly should have been instead of me being threatened with a ban when I pointed this out - definitely out of order. That's the end of it as far as I'm concerned.
