Can is a good player but he's still young / raw. He wouldn't be in my starting XI if everyone is fit and available

That's a good strike from Lovren.

Ours is the only match without a goal. Have a whole half to change things

First 15-20 mins was terrible but then we started to grow into the game. We pinned them in for the last 10-15mins.

We have to learn how to win matches even when we are not playing well.

Klopp needs to give them a bollocking at half time. We started as if we would win just by turning up, bad news about Coutinho but it is a squad game so the rest of them need to stand up and be counted

Coutinho missing limits Firmino and Mane imo. All very good players but as a trio they are phenomenal; component each other with different attributes but also link up very well.

agreed - now Mane & Firmino will be man marked.

But - Moyesy's boys are way better than their 19th position on the table. Hope you didn't under estimate them.
They are more like Anti - spuds with No Luck.
    Spuds definition of Luck.
Sunderland definition of NO luck this season thus far.

Put ourselves in a great position early season with some massive away wins and consistant performing. then a dream run upto the new year. what could possibly go wrong??? oh yeh, losing our midfield ferrett who epitomises our pressing and then our creative maestro. Big fat furry flaming ****balls.

These are the games that a lot of the pundits have been saying we will lose the ability to challenge on. Cause on these days your cities, arsenal, chavs will find a way to win we will be lucky to get a point. Last week could be forgiven cause of break - this week no excuses and we have been poor.

The first goal is crucial. If we score they'll have to come out. If they score they'll do a Jose and completely shut up shop.

First goal crucial. This and the Southampton one are matches that we have to win to have any chance of winning the title. One goal and we could put three or four past their inexperienced GK

Dont think hes on the bench today. but if in the coming weeks we have to revert to a plan B, I would like to see Grujic involved, he can be a big boost for us at this time. ( in a gerrardy kind of way - boxtobox goalsoring different to what we do withcoutinho.) #tryingtostaypositive
