Even the most optimistic of the voices in my head can't see us gaining 10 points on City with 7 games to go. We just have to keep on winning and get used to the feeling so we can give it a go next time.
Yeah really we hope we have 4 more cup games so we need to really go for the league points with Gusto and get what we can out of it. Every place is worth quite a bit of money. 6th is realistic I think.
Im just happy we seem to be on an upward trajectory again. Wasnt sure what was happening for a while. But Klopp is doing a very good job on us so far. Cant wait for motd
They've lost 4 and drawn 1 in their last 8. The three wins were West Brom, Bournemouth and Villa. United lost again today. Long shot, but it's not impossible. Besides, I don't think City are the favourites for 4th anyway, West Ham are breathing down their necks and playing better.
Well that makes even more difficult for us. It means all 3 teams well ahead of us need to collapse (no disrespect to Saints, but we're 2 behind them with 2 games in hand so I expect us to end up above them). Far be it from me to put a downer on your enthusiasm, and I never completely give up hope until it's mathematically impossible, but it's such a remote possibility I don't think it's worth considering now. Like I said, I just want to see us keep winning- if we end the season with a good run of wins then that'll set up confidence for next season.
good stuff today, Allen done himself no harm there, Origami linked well with studge when he came on. bring on dortmund
add in the factor of the far far superior goal dif that any of, us west ham or mancs will struggle to equal.
Ooooh big call that. Firmino lallana coutinho will be wondering. Cm is the question. I think stewart can't play so it's allen and milner at cm. Would you go with sturridge Thursday.
I think Klopp will. Or rather, after the first leg I was expecting to see him start the return. Origi may have changed Klopp's mind for him today, I suppose.
