It is also unrealistic to expect every replacement will be an improvement. We could replace every player and only half of the replacements would be worth keeping. Chelsea would never have given us £50m for Torres if it was that easy to spot good buys. Milner and Henderson are like Kuyt: they get a lot of stick but are Shankly players, who'd run through a wall and come out fighting on the other side. Give me a Kuyt over a £50m Chelsea Torres every day of the week.
I rather have a Gerrard who will be remembered more for being a top class player rather than his loyalty and attitude. Same as Firmino. Good attitude should not be to the detriment of actual football ability.
They'll have to go full throttle attack at their gaff. Suits us perfectly. Lightening doesn't often strike twice. Barca were extremely complacent, and it showed, I don't think we will be in the slightest.
I think conceding the two goals means we’ll be more focused for the return leg. My concern is Stoke - we have to win.
my (recent) memory is seriously dodgy but Moreno certainly has played LM last season though i think all as a latish sub.
Mohamed Salah does not become a very good player overnight, and that should be inspiration for Ings and Solanke and others.

Err...the basis being they were Roma fans so Roma is accountable for their behaviour just like we are accountable for our fans behaviour? If we get fined for smoke bombs and smashed buses I would like to think Roma get a bit more for their fans trying to murder people. It's the local police job to manage law and order and arrest those breaking it. UEFA has shown they will take action against clubs for the behaviour of their fans before .... need to in this instance too
Yeh but they were in a different country so none of it counts and the club can all go on holiday and they can roam around doing whatever they want and attempted murder's not really that bad in comparison to a flare going off and the image of the game and anyway it was just a tickle he got with the belt silly guy falling to the floor after and none of it was really filmed by smartphones and put on social media anyway and do we really want a detailed and protracted investigation to identify and prosecute individuals when usually we just say oh it's the whole crowd everyone is throwing stuff and smashing the place up so let's blame all of them easy. innit That's direct from UEFAs minutes btw
Just in, Roma, who have probably the worst thugs in Europe following them, Roma Ultras, who all carry weapons, are crying about abhorrent fans Roma fans are a bunch of knifey ****s. They must all be from Sadick Khan's London
