So many keepers go to ground so quickly that easy option to lift over them, or stay up high and can’t get down quick enough. Imagine Alison can squat for days
I think Thiago starts, I say that because even if he can only last 30mins its better than him coming on to then break down later and waste a sub. So if I was klopp even a reasonably fit Thiago starts the final for me.

The 18/19 team was the nicest on the eye imo though i fully understood and agreed with the more conservative approach in 19/20 to make sure we finally got over the line .
19/20 was just an utterly ruthless and efficient team. We destroyed teams by putting them under long periods of sustained pressure until they crumbled and then we just kept the ball and controlled the rest of the game. we didn’t have too many injuries that season but it’s just a shame Allison was missing vs At Madrid else we would have won the CL
its been a GREAT season In short: LFC have only be 2nd in the league 4 times this CENTURY. ok. so 92 point is again 7th best ever finish by a club in the league. think about that . 7th EVER. its the second highest ever 2nd place (we also hold that) we need to RESPECT the work and no call it only 2nd. its 92 bloody points lads. I'm well proud of our team for delivering that. LFC are now record league cup winners. We have on this 9 times and this is only the 4th win this century AND the first in 10 years We won the FA CUP. This is something we might get to a final once a decade. We won none in the 10s. Just a final. We won the CUP! 1 in 60s, 1 in 70s, 2 in 80s, 1 in 90s 2 in 00s, now this. this is rare for LFC even in our most dominant eras. We are in the CL final. 3 finals in 5 years. its virtually miraculous stuff. Again we need to RESPECT that achievement to get there at all with the amount of oil doping money going into winning this thing. On "football" 18/19 we looked yes, "better" attacking football. imo thats mane in his prime and salah possibly. 19/20 was indeed all business. it was a rolling single minded mission. This year we looked a bit unbalanced TBH. I still think we are unbalanced in transition and have a big risk there when moving from defence to attack of turnover. IMO VVD and Thiago got fitter and played a huge part in the run since january. this season has been one of the best for the century. our obvious contenders 2001 - what a dramatic ride. cup final drama, scrapping for 4th. it had it all. 2005 - CL win. dramatic for sure but a tough scrap and hard to watch at times. 2014 - 31 suarez goals and 2nd place but an utterly dramatic run of 11 wins and it was a wild anything could happen at any time thing 2019 - CL win that really says it all. the chase for 2nd with 10 wins in a row as well. 2020 - all the wins then covid. you couldn't make it up, the league trophy with no parade, not fans in ground. i won't rank those but imo it would be top 3 right now. IMO it'll be top 2 with the win and imo no 1 over and above the league title win because the fans will be able to be there. Klopp would say the effort and hardship of last year was every bit as much of hard work and dedication and this year and to celebrate them all
