take a look at Real madrid game last season and naby la subbed off and not seen again that season.
take a look last weekend to see a really narrow set up and trent absolutely exposed. thats the reality check.

Its not only down to naby though, klopp set it up with that narrow 433 with naby advanced. if we do this we will get eaten alive. This game must be a dog fight in midfield.

you just cannot go into a game of this level carrying a player... thats what man utd do every time they take the field with de gea, maguire and ronaldo. 8 v 11. its a miracle they got 6th tbh.

its nothing to do with general fitness, its the ability to use that leg.

If you get a thigh stain for example. it wouldn't matter how fit you are theres no power there and its 2 week mins.

Hamstring.. 3 weeks. its just what it is.

We've been told its an achillies. If he can play dosed with pain killers but would be doing damage, well he might take that risk.

 

If he's fit he plays, a lot of players go out on the pitch every week not 100% and it's down to the player and medical staff to decide if he's got a game in him. I agree with you that if he's going to go off injured after 20 minutes it's not worth it though.
