It always amazes me that people will put club rivalry above justice and honesty in serious situations like this. But when there are people who will stab each other over a game, or assault players on a pitch just for being in another team it seems the veneer of civilisation is pretty thin at times.
Yeah, assault players on the pitch, racially abuse opponents' families in the stand, bottle players taking corners, and invade your own stadium before games to get them called off, and that's just bantz. Get caught up for hours outside a stadium in a disorganised, chaotic, mismanaged spectator crush (and get mugged and assaulted while you're at it), and it's never your fault if you even raise a peep of complaint.
One thing this time though is how many reporters , sponsors and officials who were also kettled , pepper sprayed mugged etc along with the "normal" fans and their independent evidence is much more difficult to brush away . Everything i've seen heard shows the fans were actually remarkably restrained in the circumstances
Not just pepper sprayed, they were pepper sprayed whilst behind locked gates and secure fencing. What exactly were the fans a danger too?
That ref also blew up early (at least 20 seconds) ignoring the fact a sub had come on in injury time...........piss poor. Not the first time thats happened to us in a European cup final...........remember 2007 v Milan?
Whole thing sickens me. My views on the French are pretty well known on here anyway. However this goes to another level. People siding with them and blaming us (again) are mindless ****s.

Even now, the best they can come up with is - 'If you had a valid ticket and couldn't get in, we'll arrange a refund'. Jesus wept - time for lawsuits, both individuals and class actions funded by the clubs.
A refund What about the expenses? Food and drink? Time off work? Etc. Not to mention the ****tiness of it andd missing a once in a life opportunity
It needs lawsuits, and plenty of them. Without mentioning all the other slurs, they had absolutely no right nor reason to put out that initial lie that the game was delayed because of late-arriving Liverpool fans.
