That was a lovely taken goal
Mig in no-mans land
Absolutely abysmal keeping by Mingolet.
****in hell it's all happening.
hahaha a ****ing penalty on Borini!!!!!!!
Have to say Gerrard was cool as **** there under immense pressure.
At least it has woke the crowd up.
****ing typical - thought it was gonna peter out to a 1-0, nipped outside for a burn and missed all the action
BEnfica and Atletico both beaten!
5-1 to Real and that must take them to 1000 European goals!
Wasn't the B, it was the full back
Fair play to Borini, stuck to his guns and he's getting minutes.
Should have buried that header mind.
Aye, doesn't change the fact he's nowhere near good enough for top 4/CL, but at least he can now find out for himself...
I'm so old bitter and twisted, that I hope he fails miserably after turning us down.
Yet love seeing Hendo do well.
He can't play more than a hour anyway.
Aye, Jordan is doing great man, he's still improving, and he's one of the best in the league now.
His passing, which we saw in bursts, is consistently excellent, his vision and movement massively improved.
Love to see it, top lad Jordan.
It helps they aren't sticking him out on the wing and then not giving him the ball. hahaha
Just goes to show put players in their proper positions and let them show what they can do.
Hendo is now shouting and bawling at players that when he went there he was bowing down too.
It's great to see Hendo doing so well.
Always said he could be top drawer.
Pains me to say it but it's probably the best club for his development as well, not cos of tiki-taka Brenda, but cos of Gerrard. Gerrard will teach him everything he needs to know to get the best out of him, the kid's gonna be future England captain I reckon, some of the balls he was spraying around against Villa were right out of the Gerrard hand book.
He's got goals in him as well, which is always a huge plus.
