I disagree. I think we could have done better without the hoof ball 4-4-2 that has been employed nearly all season.

    ****ing site is playing up.
My reply to Stan is this:

Whether anyone else would of come is a separate issue surely?
I'm pointing out how utterly crap Ramsey has been (and Redkapp before him).
A better manager would have kept us up imo.

We can't defend, why are we conceding so many goals in the last quarter hour of games? A manager/coach can only do so much with the players at his disposal, I don't think any of our defenders would be first choice at any other PL team. We have no pace in the side and no playmaker that can dictate the pace of a game.

To sum us up, we're crap...

We'll have to agree to disagree mate.

The defence has been badly exposed most of the season by playing a very open 4-4-2, risking everything to pander to Austin's wish to have BZ up with him.
A more solid midfield would have protected the defence much better imo.
We do have pace, with Vargas, Traore, Hoilett and Phillips(when he gets going) and a better coach may well have got more from thses players, again in a different formation to 4-4- ****ing-2 hoof ball.
I do agree that we have missed a playmaker, but again, till he got injured, Fer could have been that man, but he was constantly played out of position......again a bad coaching decision.
Vargas could have had more impact, but he was constantly played out of position.......more bad coaching.
A better/different coach wouldn't have ****ed us up early on by abandoning 3-5-2 early on.

    Etc.Etc.

Probably getting relegated gives a very negative viewpoint. But, we are not done for totally just yet (City havw little to play for)and while I see the possibilities of us going somewhere worse than Wigan we still have Owners with cash, a Manager who seems straight and clearly is an excellent Coach and motivator, and players who have the ability to do well in the Championship, and give PL Teams a tough game. We have taken 6 points from WBA and Sunderland this season, so we aren't that bad FF'S. ComeOnUR.

In what way has Ramsey shown himself to be "an excellent coach"?

What is the point of Traore and Hoilett? I used to have a wind-up toy that would go off in all directions hitting the wall or door, those two along with SWP are as much use as that toy. We've had a skinful of underperforming, useless, overpaid wasters abusing our brainless chairman's financial incompetence and taking supporters for a ride. Anyone who paid top dollar for a season ticket has my deepest sympathy...

    Nope.
I think that Ramsey has employed bad tactics that have left our midfield wide open and therefore our defence badly exposed. Redknapp did the same.
A more competent coach over the entire season would definitely have kept us up imo and quite possibly just from when Ramsey took over also.

Well you probably don't agree but I've seen a definite improvement in our collective performances since he took over from Harry. We have given everyone except Palace was it, a tough game iincliding Chelsea.

I've also seen improvement in individual performances from Ned, much more focused and concentrated until something got to him yesterday. Caulker a little better recently. Phillips clearly better! Fer and Vargas looked a lot better before their injuries, and Fer did well again yesterday while still not match fit, scoring 1 probably 2. Adel looked much better in the few minutes he got. Barton was better apart from yesterday.

He has a reputation of being a good Coach, confirmed for me. He also has done well with the PR, everything really except probably not keeping us up. But I doubt anyone would have with our injury depleted PL weak squad.

    So Ellers is right delusional.
Pray tell, whilst you have an even more defence minded midfield assisting the slowest, oldest, ****iest defence on record, who from our pacy and skillblessed rest of the team were going to wreack havoc on our adversaries?

CR made us a competitive team IMO nearly instantly Yes we were not good enough. He took a blunt set of tools a bunch of poorly assembled misfits and apart from 20 mins at Palace were in every game more or less
We are do t forget talking about the same players that the majority on here thought should have gone a long while back ...
We were promoted because of Junior Hoilett and his desire in a one off game
The players and squad have played way above what most on here expected most over the hill I agree
CR I bet would be the first to say he would love to play with craft and skill
    Not possible with his directive
He lifted a bunch of old sods assembled by a bullshitter
Padrew never in the running for QPR ever so that's a load of crap
Pulis has street cred but FFS what a bore and I wouldn't watch QPR
Sherwood is a tit and a idiot
CR is total class as a man and a brilliant coach IMO
Posters who see just failure shouldn't blame CR it's a cheap shot IMO

I keep saying you cannot turn water into wine. It wouldn't have made a difference who took us over, we were destined to go down. Harry created an unbalanced team that simply wasn't good enough and the more i look back over the season the more i cannot believe the board let him get away with it. The whole of this season has been a disaster and we should not try and make excuses. Ramsey inherited a bad hand and although i have seen an improvement in the play he also missed a chance with some weird team selections and tactics.

As i said yesterday, the best thing is to get rid of Ramsey, most of the players and start again. TF needs to wake up and stop being a muppet. I have supported him when others questioned but he has now had many chances to sort and failed. At the end of the day he choses the manager and if we start next season in the Championship with Ramsey then i'm afraid we have once again learned nothing.

Ellers, it may be that Ramsey is the only option for next season...
