Encouraging start

 

A few half chances for us, but final pass letting us down.
Kenny puts in a cracking ball, and Teemu not on same wavelength

 

Rashica, Kenny and Normann excellent so far. Aarons looking brilliant, Gilmour doing well too.

 

He’s still very young of course.

 

Cracking first half by our lads - lots of commitment and entertainment so far

 

Excellent defensive display by our lads, but the energy being used may come back to haunt us later in the match. But we do have 4 defenders on the bench.

 

With regard to my earlier comments, Canario was quite right. I don't know if Tzolis has been badly handled, but I can't help but suspect this is true. What I feel sure about from the Bournemouth game - and I know it was their reserves etc etc - Tzolis is very talented and I guess I'm frustrated because if I imagine him down one wing and Rashica down the other, we would look pretty potent going forward.

So far we've been good today and I have to admit that McLean has been excellent so far.

 

Tzolis like Gilmore needs to bulk up a bit for a side that spends most of the game defending
