    Not so sure people forget
General consensus on here seems to be more would trust Bradley over Trent - particularly when it comes down to defending
Now whether that is cause we feel spurned or not I don’t know lol

I don’t think Trent is as bad at defending as he sometimes portrays
I think he will be perfect for Madrid tbph

I think that Mo has either convinced himself he is ready to leave or backed himself into a corner where he probably has to leave

truth is - for me - I actually don’t think we can afford him
With VVD - I am not sure who would want him now

so it is sort of it is what it is
I am just hoping they all go in a blaze of glory not a damp squib how Klopp did as I think that would be a shame

Its nothing to do with Real.

I have been anti this inverted full back ****e for 2 seasons. I hate it and things its stupid. Full backs being narrow is ok as underlapping if thats what you want but not your rb being over o nthe left side of mifield enjoying himself.

    IMO trent is:

    a) lazy about getting back.
    b) stand far too square as a defender and as such isn't a good defneder
    c) gets under the ball too much and it goes over his head or he won't get jump with someone
    d) Gambles to intercept but then gives up if he doesn't and let players by.
    e) is a ball watcher. You can look at him looking at the ball over on the right and just ambling wihtout paying any attnetion to his own position or who is in there.

I would say trent is a hapless defender as everythign i just wrote is fixed quite easily by focus and work ethic.

If you can hold your position well, work hard to get back in and keep an eye on your opponent you'll improve radically as a defender. If you can stand properly (as a 17 year old would) that would also help not getting beaten.

for the record: robertson is pretty poor at getting tight in the box when he needs to and also gmables on his tackles and is aslo piss weak at the far stick aerially. but robertson wants to defend and will defend so is not suually caught out.

the difference between bradley and trent is pure desieto defend. He' more agressive and wants to do the work. Trent just doesn't. he is not interested.

The second theres a free to be taken or shot on he is all for the glory headline though.

the reason i am convinced he will be as big a flop as owen is the real crowd is not forgiving and is dmeanding of perfection at all times. Mbappe hasn't been given and easy ride so far. If trent indudlges his tendancies to wander and not bother himself to get into position he will be torn apart.

the real crowd never thought owne was good enough for them and it showed.

VVD's agent has apparently approached Real Madrid suggesting a move, but RM said "no thanks". His age is against him now so he will probably stay with us.

Harsh on jones. He had 1 bad game.

Robertson wasn’t any better. Gravenberch wasn’t great. Diaz gakpo Salah were all really poor.

are you dropping them for the forest game the same as jones?

a)gravenberch was on his own v 3. why? macca was told to go advanced

    b) robertson was actually present anworking even if his usal failure to get tight cost a goal

    c) diaz was up against 3 with not help to press (jones) i want to see jota start one.

    d) gakpo scored, and fronted up physically

    e) salah wasnt poor.

seriously jones was awol. it was a litte physical and he vanished and wnet wide and never did his pressing job. made it far too easy for utd to plass it baout. whne its maguire and deligt passing it then you have ot be thinking something is badly wrong.
