Decline, relegation, resurgence, domination, consistency...........some of us have seen it all before. Patience is all we need, plus a complete rebuild.
Ah, the LVG days. 1 shot on target per game which was still more than the number of fans awake. Didn't even manage 50 goals that season. Hard to imagine that someone could produce less interesting football than Jose i know, but it was achieved. More likeable guy though.
I just read this on BBC comments: 192. Posted by Vox Populi on 34 minutes ago The Man Utd board should have got rid of Mourinho months ago. Potentially they could have rescued their season. Too late now. This season is going to be a write off and they are inevitably going to lose their better players in the coming transfer market windows. United is a mismanaged club when it comes to matters of football.
Most likely they will stick to form and only sack him once 4th is mathematically impossible. Everyone can see he won't turn this around, but they'll prolong the misery to save a few quid.
There was a comment that his compo would decrease by 50% if CL is not achieved. Moyes supposedly had the same thing in his contract?
The insanity was giving him a new contract just before his third season which is typically his car crash season. It's going to cost a fortune to get rid of him and at the same time we will lose a lot of good players (or at least they were good before he got hold of them).
I simply don't get all the concern about how much it will cost to get rid of him - even if it was £20m, in today's money that's nothing, you couldn't buy any decent players for that - plus the manager is at the core of everything. I would pay him off tomorrow, we might even find a way of climbing into a CL spot and earning more than the pay-off.
It is, starting with your fellow countrymen the Glazers. I don't agree with Vox Populi though, whoever the ****er is. The season can still be rescued, to an extent, but we've got to get rid of Mourinho now. Give someone else a crack at the champions league, we certainly won't be in it next year unless we win this one! The alternative is sell Pogba next month and get rid of that cancer instead.
I was planning on responding to this, Chief. Then I saw the news. I'm actually not American. British Canadian, bro! I don't see us selling Pogba with this latest development.
Ah right, fair enough. No, nor do I. Unless he actually wants to leave and then he can, no problem. I think the incomer will attempt to get some sort of tune out of him though.
