Hopefully you’re right. I felt we needed to keep at them for 10 minutes and they may have crumbled.

 

I was putting the Xmas tree up with the match on in the background. 10 minutes in I realised I had not got "The Glass and The Beer" got that sorted and we scored on 12 minutes.

First 20 minutes we were unplayable and the City of old would have soaked up the pressure then gradually controlled the game. Not today.

This is going to be us creating lots of chances and City trying to hit us on the break.

Kicking into the Annie Rd second half so the Kop will just have to sing louder

 

i'm working on the assumption they have been crumbling in the second half against almost everyone of late

Wish we had managed to get another in before half time incase City come back on a different team, or Pep handed the ref an envelope at half time.

Still can't say no to being a goal up against City.

 

Even if we win today (which certainly isn't guaranteed) we would still need to be wary. Everton will only be 23 points behind us....



/ And Arsenal and Chelsea only 9... That's three games gap with many games left.
