You do realise that this is the Liverpool board? So we’re more likely to analyse each goal from a Liverpool perspective? Ie did we attack well, did we defend well? Just a thought
De Gea is a phenomenal shot stopper but he is naff at coming out in crowded areas, so the defence protects him
The rule is fecking unnecessary. ££££££. Bit like being disciplined at work for being happy. Miserable bastards.
But why is the rule there in the first place? Get your point. But before long it will be no celebration, and media moaning they aren't happy and want away lol. ££££££££
Wasn’t it something to do with political messages and inciting the crowd ??? Either way sure they could clear that rule up
Especially when players remove their shirts when subbed, when injured and there is blood on their shirt, at the end of games, etc. What exactly is the booking for when they remove their shirts? Is it "protecting" kids or offensive?
I heard it was because of sponsorship. By removing your shirt you are not showing your sponsor and they don't like it so fa brought the rule in. ££££££ Might be wrong but was my understanding.
There are a number of explanations for the rule doing the rounds - the one you mentioned is amongst them. None of them make much sense, imo. My point wasn't about the wisdom of the rule, just that it exists, so players are daft to break it. There's nothing to be gained from it so why bother? I know it's exuberance but they could do something else surely? Not agreeing with a law is no defence for breaking it, so it's not worth the yellow cards, imo. They could accumulate and you could miss a vital game, and for what?
The rule only came in when Forman took it off and then spent 10 minutes trying to put it on. I thought it was something to do with that
Well the dozy old ****er should have made sure he was in the right sport Not that I would argue with him lol.
I thought the rule was brought in after Fowler had the message supporting the Liverpool dockers strike on his T-SHIRT, under his shirt. He took his shirt off after scoring and displayed the message. Other players then followed suit with messages for their girlfriends, kids, etc and it all got a bit silly. So rule prevents any messages being displayed on T-shirts beneath the shirt, without the FA having to say what messages are acceptable, and which ones are not. There again I am old so all the above might have been a dream. zzzzzzzzzzzzz
