anyone heard any rumours about the team. Lots of ex players on Talksport saying "Gerrad must start". Seemed to be based on his past performances in derby games and because he is a scouser. If he plays we will be slowed down to Utd's speed and play into their hands. Hope we stick with the same team as past few games, subject to injuries allowing
If we start with Gerrard we might as well just give up already. He's a good impact player, as was shown in the last game. He can't hack it from the start though. And if he does come on it needs to be higher up the pitch.
Gerrard simply has to start. This is his last game against the biggest club in England. You cant take that away from Gerrard. Think of everything hes done.

Unchanged team..good stuff. Happiest with Gerrard coming off the bench and playing as attacking midfielder now as he can't play a full game in that position and weakens us playing deeper. Nice to see Lucas available again, although clearly not match fit yet

United have a horrible run in... City @ Home, then Chelsea & Everton away followed by Arsenal at home 2nd to last game. Hopefully Everton can return to some decent form before the United game as well.
Good team, disappointing to see no Marko on the bench, doesn't really deserve to be dropped from the squad. Lucas and Gerrard though, at least we have some midfield cover if needed, just can't drop Allen and Henderson in the form they're in.

Has anyone else noticed carra's accent has softened noticeably since he's joined sky? I can actually understand him now!
Bench doesn't look like it can do much aside from Gerrard and Mario...zero pace on there too. Lets hope we put this away early
