Easy way to stop that. don’t have friendlies / qualifiers in the middle of the season. Get rid of the international breaks and keep the season going through them then finish regular seasons 4 weeks earlier. And have an international window after season closes. Can have you’re 2/3 friendly games and then any qualifiers after that. Will allow international squads to be picked and stay together/train for a month to allow better understanding or tactics and any injuries won’t affect club football.
