I've seen this photo on the weekend. its not coropate par se its the bottom tier if you look at the pics of where the tunnel for the access comes out they are all tall i nthe middle tier and thats certainly looking like an issue to me. look here at the access points at the top of the teir please log in to view this image you can see if you are sitting right at those grey spots that visibility is next to zero. on a brighter note: please log in to view this image
I stand corrected, does look an issue. I guess just stand up when the ball goes that side of the pitch. Not like obstructing anyone's views behind you.
That's it mate. It's at the back of the lower tier. If you look at the central section at the back of that tier you can see where it ends and there's that wall. The seats in that corporate central section are higher than the ones the other side of the wall. So that must be where the pic I posted was taken from
yeah, not sure if theres the railing there but it must be cos the plebs up there look seated. i think every single access point has the same issue though..... I think they all have walls that are too high. I'm told the seats may be discounted but for that view £9 is still too much.
On a brighter note: please log in to view this image [/QUOTE] II'll take the one in the middle please...
Thanks for posting the picture. I saw when right clicking on it that it was taken from rawk and I was about to go there There's been a few pics posted here and there about restricted views, suppose it goes with the territory quite literally. Massive stands don't hold themselves up.
Yeah. I heavily borrow from there and thisisanfield. I think this one is a case of i don't quite know who they managed to do this. there's a few fakes about of other things that simply don't exist but this one appears to be right form the horse's mouth. basically its not ideal for the corporate snob nor the poor fall who's got to stand just to see half the pitch beside him.
No mito I meant when tobes posted the pic and I couldn't see it, it just comes up as a red 'x' I right clicked on the red 'x' and it gave me the source. That wall certainly does create a pocket of very restricted views, they should have just taken the raised bit right across to the nest exit point. They won't be ST seats though will they [?] so the restricted views get shared around whoever's unlucky enough to get it each game.
The guy that posted it seems to be talking like he's a season ticket holder so.... I think in general i'd believe he is and he's got a terrible deal there.
Shows the difficulties of expansion by refurbishment I suppose. As you're limited in what you can achieve not least because it's done piece meal. The balance between the size you want vs the limitations - the different roof heights on the adjoining stands being merely 1.
yeah but this one seems an "odd" mistake to make thats not related to refurbing. they'd done it and oh.... ooops. theres "character" and "special" and the nthere... hmmmm
You make some valid points. On balance though I think most reds, in fact every single red I know, wanted refurb over a move and possibly those with ST restricted views can get themselves moved to unrestricted. Half the new 8,500 are hospitality and the rest are split between ST and general admission, I can't think they'd give the 'worst' seats to ST holders.
Yeah that one section in the lower tier does appear to be a design **** up as opposed to a refurb issue. I was more referring to the restricted view seats at the back of the crazy high tier, some of which shouldn't be an issue when and if they do the Anfield Road extension.
It won't be an issue mate, they can use their selfie sticks to poke over the heads of the corporates - job sorted
But it could also show he will acknowledge players that listen, buckle down and change to suit his and the clubs ways
