Player with a ‘head’ injury despite there being zero contact
Really need to sort that out fast
It’s a massive pain right now

What’s this narrative that we haven’t missed key players through injury?

Weve had injuries, just managed it. Someone needs to call out these ‘pundits’ on the bull ****. Get paid enough, why can’t you do a bit of research.

Alisson out for majority of season.

    Konate missed 4/5 games.

Main striker in Jota has missed majority of the season with injury.

Elliott missed majority of the season.

Jones/TAA been injuries for games. Bradley now out.

    January is a huge month

    Arsenal
Brentford away - Brentford home form has been brilliant albeit against weaker sides

brighton away - similar to brentford

    Newcastle home LC

United at home - should be a win based on form

Spurs home - similar to above but it’s the NLD, like our derby anything could happen.

Villa home - against expect a win but Villa can be dofficilt

    dinamo home CL

wolves away - new manager seems to turning them around

We've only had the goalie, cb, rb, lb and striker injured

Because vvd, or gravenberch or macallister or salah or probably now gakpo have not had a leg fall off like odengaard and saka we are clearly very lucky.

In the same way we've played nobody who is any good as everyone eleven met is below us in the table or something.

    Just watching motd highlights.

Both full backs were so poor on thst goal.

Trent gambles and he doesn't time and again rather than hold position is playing cm not rb so lets a guy run straight into his channel and leaves it then to gravenberch while jogging back. If he was left on his own like that he'd scream at the cm.

Then robbo is gash in the middle and should have been tighter day 1 but then ran off the guy to let him shoot.

Gakpo goal is even better when you consider he beat his man and then Leicester had no cover so he made his own space and time to put thst away

The salah finish wasn't given any credit at all. If anyone else in the prem scores that it's goal of the month and raved about. Thst was a world class finish.

Finally nunez getting abuse again for occupying cbs in congested area
He got his one shot off. The abuse is ridiculous at times. So he's not great. So what

Was wondering about this one because the fog had been down all day and wasn't dispersing. Don't think it was ever in doubt but glad it was played. Saying that, only one team came to play. We got better as the game went along. Absolutely shameless time wasting and faking from Leicester. Slot made me laugh with his comment 'every time we had momentum, one of their players was lying on the floor pretending to be injured ....'

The still of the lines for 'offside' on Nunez shows Salah clearly ahead of the lines in which case Nunez can't be offside. Salah was already deemed onside for his part in the phase of play so any of our players on or behind the lines can't possibly be offside.

    Onwards and upwards.

That’s not how offside works. You have to be behind the ball, not behind the man. The line was drawn from the ball which Nunez was in front of

I think you need to look again. The line wasn't drawn from the ball. When was the last time you saw an offside line drawn from the ball?

    Yes it was.

Offside you either need 2 players between you and the goal (99% of offsides are for this) but you can be ahead of 2 players as long as you’re behind the ball.

Nunez was ahead of all the defenders but if he’d been behind the ball would have been onside. But as he was ahead of the ball - this is why they drew the line from the ball - he was offside.

edit - I was wrong wasn’t drawn from ball but still offside as per post below.

I fact just rechecked in case was wrong and I was - it wasn’t drawn from the ball. That’s because it was drawn against the defender and Nunez is ahead of him. So just a normal bog standard offside.

Where salahs legs are means nothing. Only way Nunez would have been onside is if the ball was further forward and he was behind the ball but he wasn’t.
