It’s come from the prem rules. If your under 23s have first team experience with your club or the efl or abroad then they are classified as first team member and should be made available. If your under 16 is good enough to play first team football before today then should be good enough during covid
Funny. City got their fixture at Goodison postponed last December with 2 COVID cases. We’ve currently got 9 fit first team out field players available and 3 keepers. 11 out, 6 injured and 5 with COVID, but the PL have refused our request for a postponement. There’s a different set of rules being applied to the ‘big 6’ in this league, it reeks.

Also it’s only City spurs and United that have had games postponed from ‘the big 6’ Chelsea Liverpool and Arsenal haven’t had any. Plus Everton, Leeds, Watford. Actually been more clubs outside big 6 that have had games postponed than inside edit: not sure city have actually have they? So only United n spurs.
Imo you've been absolutely reamed by the ****s so I sympathise for sure. Theres no way calvert lewin should be risked like this after a long injury. However leeds have been reamed as well. We have not asked for anything but spurs and leicester in particular for got away with murder imo.
And, we've had plenty of opportunities to request a postponement. In fact, I think we got rejected and forced to play two games within 24hrs despite them being in different continents.
"They" will claim the league cup was organised by a different body so nothing to do with "them" Then the efl will claim lfc could not find an alternative date and so agreed to the reserves playing. The option to throw in a walk over is open to all of these games being discussed but teams dont want to. So they hope for postponement

Hopefully it pays off in spades over the next two games. That is IF chelsea (tuchel is desperate) and leicester dont find a way to get out of games. Leicester will have to be suffering by the 28th and frankly Chelsea should be absolutely destroyed.
