Half arsed slow play is the only issue here. This lot won't last 90 if you force them to make challenges. It's taking 3 mins to get the ball put of our own feet st the back to then go forward.
This is a truly grim watch in all respects .We seem to have little idea of how to break them down not helped by TAA having a mare . How Pickford hasn't been booked for time wasting is beyond me and as for that little **** Richarlison

So frustrating to watch. Understand Everton employing ****ty tactics, they're obviously very aware of how inferior they are. What I find frustrating is them being allowed to get away with it. Blatant time wasting should be automatic booking, as should kicking the ball away and dissent!!!
Breaking my rule about not commenting during a game just to say this is exactly what I feared. Anti-football from Everton, lack of invention or urgency from us, and utterly incompetent refereeing from Attwell. Horrible game so far. JK needs to do some talking.
Ball is in live action when keeper has it. Supposed to be a rule about time wasting but only keeper I ever saw punished was mingolet. When you slide on your knees to catch a simple ball that should go to start an attack then drop on your belly that more than half his available time gone. I've not seen one over lapping run or ball in behind wide yet. Forwards wide are not playing it that way, just back and frankly trent has been utter tosh thus far.
I'm not arsed how Everton are plying, it's up to them. I am arsed about how we are playing, trent playing at a central midfielder rather than proving the overlap for salah, jota and mane playing central not providing width on the left. Get to the by line stretch the defense, cut the ball back rather than trying to constantly play through them. I'd bring Diaz on for keita, keep mane and jota central, pen them ****ing in. Trent go bloody wide for a change
Thing is here a draw puts everton firmly in the relegation zone so while yes it is only logical to at least secure a point the total lack of ambition when they have 3 actual running threats is going to cost them. Are they going to do the same v cheslea next and end up well behind burnely? At some point they have to do more but with the games they have left they have to put thsi effort in. The ref has.left them.put hands on and pull and push which is making it easy for Everton.
Yeah makes sense. The only thing to be angry about is mane. It's all mouth at him. But as for Kevin Campbell saying its eye gouging when it's nowhere near an eye is absolute rubbish punditry.
Up to us to do something though. Everton would take the draw and keep digging each week. If we draw its the title gone.
