Tsimikas is knocking the crosses in well.They've done nowt so far.

 

Definitely won't be a high scoring game. Two at most imo

 

He worries me defensively tbh. He's got a bit of Moreno about him

 

Average performance thus far. Milner henderson and salah have done well on the right.

A little.less from thiago tsimikas and jota/mane but ok.

Really just an alright showing after a big midweek game.


Jota unforgivable miss.

Mane still has time to miss 2 second half. Good times. I backed him to score remember.

Would need to see a small bit more cos when the subs come on we will lose control a bit and could come under a lot of pressure.

Ideal to score before half time as now their team talk cant ignore that and stay defensive. Salah on the break for me is the next goal.

 

Half over. Started rough but by the halfway point we were definitely the better team.

Konate looks OK, I don't think he'll be replacing Matip anytime soon as first choice, but he gives me no worries if I see him on the starting XI in the future.

Tsimikas has been great all game (besides almost giving away a penalty). We haven't seen much from Robertson this season and I know he's coming back from injury... But I think Tsimi has been better than Robbo so far this season. Robertson may have to fight for his position.

 

My missus could have scored the Jota miss.

Bit harsh. Yes, he's been shaky but it's his first start for us / in the PL. He needs time to settle much like a lot of our other players did, including Matip.

 

I don't think it's harsh. Matip has done a decent job. I said he gives me no worries. He only made one mistake that i saw. Overall i think he's done OK...

Well so far so good though early on it was painfully obvious that it was a new back 4 . If Jota was on form today we could have been home & dry .

I think konates inclusion says all we need to know about what klopps thinks of him.

Robbo, fab, tmiskas, ox, none got near the 1st team for ages really.
