This first half has been, frankly, brilliant. It's like a classic European night, but it's Chelsea. So, so pleased with the performance so far.
poch is fuming. they've played nobody for a while, got some results and thought they were it. I know the league cup final will be different as its at Wembley but this is showing chelsea's mid table level.

He does seem to do better the harder the challenge... like he loses focus on the tap-ins, but when it looks hard he'll score a blinder.

really enjoyed that half - good atmosphere , good inventive play and a cracking goal from Connor Oh and Darwin being Darwin

Yes, and that’s why I have an issue with it - he doesn’t even ‘need a goal’, he’s been scoring and we shouldn’t be thinking that way anyway. What an amazing half of football that was though
