Delighted for young Harvey, what a goal. Very nice debut for our new acquisition with his dancing feet. He looks a real handful.

Can see his technical ability is top notch, just from his little cameo. The quick feet for the goal. One moment when ball went up into the air just inside the box and he brought it down with a delicate touch.

Probably take him a bit of time to get used to the speed and physicality of the league though so wouldn’t expect him to do many 90min games to start with. As far as camper debuts go, was a nice one though and will hopefully allow him to settle in knowing he’s already contributed

Elliott just looks so confident on the ball. Getting it, crisp passing into feet. Always looking to go forward with it. The way he took his goal was brilliant and nice of him to get it so early after his injury.

He could finally be the player that chips in with 7-10 goals from midfield that we haven’t had for last few years (not that it’s needed). But adds another dimension. Very excited to see him develop and if carries on like he’s done think this time next season could easily be nailed on first name midfield.

Plus although not a scouser, he’s a proper fan. Only 18, no reason him and TAA couldn’t nail down that right side for the next 10 years.

Trent will be forced out cos he can't get up and down the line in 20 years time ;)

That's what I like about his play. Older players tend to be more cautious but the youngsters, left to their own instincts and not hindered by tactics, still have the schoolyard mentality of racing towards the goal and either looking for the open man or scoring themselves.

He won't have to do that much running. Milner will be putting in the extra KM to cover for TAA as he ages.
