Tsimikas looks good going forward and a bit shaky at the back again. With Fabinho missing and Hendo doing the holding, we look a bit exposed at times.
At this level of game (speed and being allowed to kick through the player by dean) elliot at rcm makes little sense it is very left footed and honestly the ball inside is completely out of the question. He is closed to half the park. Needs to play lcm. It's all fine for rw to cut in but not rcm. We need to wake up. Get the expressos for lunch ow and come out and play.
Tsimikas in fairness can defend as he has shown several headers and closing down runs but on the ground he is a liability in defending. Keita isnt tracking and mane isnt doing much either and on that side they can get a runner in no question. However all their best moments are on the other side. They lack quality and are running about hoping for a break. We need to keep the ball better and create but do the simple basics and this one is over 1-0. If we fail to do the basics they will eventually get a chance fall their way.
An odd half off football, Burnley running about alot, plenty of energy, but not much quality. We look very good in patches, not quite there at others. I feel not playing out from the back, humping it long all the time, is probably our biggest issue.

Yeah cos henderson played a good ball. It doesn't mean that the point is not valid. More than half the pitch is not open to him to pass to. Lad's just ballsed his touch up there again. It's a lighter hour for him here but we need more to close this out.
