Now, injuries Lazarus has arisen!! Yes it's our baby la with the bruise. keita didnt need his leg sewn back on after all. Thiago has grown hair. Most odd but again not much wrong with him. No sign of fabinho. So this leaves us with Kelleher- ill. Fabinho - knee Elliott - ankle Milner - hamstring. I dont think folks will feel too bad if Henderson, thiago, keita, jones and ox fight it out for 3 places for another week?
No, he finally washed himself. We want to sell him in january for 2quid so we are showing he exists. Like.. pitaluga and alisson were also pictured. Acterburg would play before the former model
Brighton are a funny old team. Half the time don’t look like ever going to score and then at times can create 5 or 6 brilliant chances in a half. They showed second half v city after being 2 or 3 down that no fear can make them a dangerous side. 5 at the back played well we sometimes struggle to break down as well, important not to just fling crosses in with funk Duffy and Webster at the back as they’ll win everything. Need to defend set pieces properly as they are really strong there as well Strong favourites especially as home and with Salah in the form of his life.
I think they will try to counter but they seem a.much better run team than utd. That said the wheels have come off big time lately after a massive start. If they play 352 or whatever then imo salah will have them on toast. A lumbering cb v salah is our absolute ideal. Esp if wing back is pushed up.
Wouldn’t exactly say the wheels have come off? Just 3 draws where they’ve struggled to score goals which is the problem when don’t have a quality striker. Maupay will get 10 goals but they need to invest in someone better Drew with Palace which was lucky last minute goal Draw with arsenal where they battered them but couldn’t score draw with Norwich where missed glorious chances beaten 4-1 by city but 3-0 at Ht and second half they were very good.
Adam Lallana is visiting Anfield for the second time since he left us, this , visit Brighton are going to leave empty handed.
even a stopped clock is right twice a day mate. his last hat trick was bournemouth December 2018 (another **** side who couldn't defend) and before that in november 2016 v bologna for roma. If you lads said a brace sure why not given its at home but he's more likely going to give an assist or two plus score than get a hat trick.
Klopp on injuries: Naby Keita looks good, he was lucky. I think he's ready. Fabinho doesn't look that good, not too complicated but likely to keep him out again. Not in team training yet. Klopp on Thiago returning to training: "It doesn't mean he is ready for a football match. He is closer than he was last week, much closer. We have to see what we can do with that." [LFC]
so midfield will be Hendo, Jones, Keita or Ox then. good that the others are closing in On a return - Klopp has always rotated midfield because of the work they get through.
