Heard that, at least somebody is appreciating Hendo's finer attributes. Its one of the strongest parts of his game
its just first of losers in the end we have a unique opportunity here and we have to try our best for it. I believe our best is keeping going and being ourselves. I would only rest between the two legs. that game is i think stoke.
I think winning Champions League is a bigger deal and more prestigious than winning domestic title... But I want domestic title more because haven't had it in a long time. Obviously domestic is out of our reach until next year (next year is our year)... Champions League is still unlikely... But we have better odds there than PL.
fair enough too. thats another record i like the 48 goals personally. one is almost linked to the other eg. 39 goals now 29 in league 8 in europe 1 in European qualifier 1 in cup 5 league games 2 CL games (ahem min) needs 9 goals total in 7 games for 48. So a goal a game in prem = 5. 29+5 = 34. so yours is met automatically So if he gets a hatrick this weekend plus 4 more (goal a game) = 7 in 5. that leaves him needed just 2 goals in CL Sf (ahem or final) to get 48. I want to see a mo mo hat trick this weekend!
we all want one go at that one. CL is over 6 group matches with 3 wins usually enough. 2 last 16, 2 qf, 2 sf, 1 final = 13 games. YOu don't even need win half of them. you can draw away and win at home and walk the comp if you are good enough. Prem or La liga is a week in week out 38 game grind where you can only afford to drop 2 points per block of 4. (matchs is every 4 games get 10 points = 95 points at end) ok so it can very form 85 to 95 points but thats what you need to do 9 or 10 points every 4 games. thats more wins and more effort

Milner & Robbo are pretty good at it too. All three are ahead of Hendo, Mane too imo. Depending on if he can find his pre-injury form, Lallana as well.
Actually, I was being harsh on Hendo. As the number 6, his job isn’t to press. It’s to screen. However, when he was a box to box mid in his prime, he was good at it.
