Why did Borini go far post when there was a massive gap near post and the keeper's weight was going towards far post. Really really **** decision that
Dunno if we was excellent Brendan. But we was better than them. Poor finishing and decision making cost us this one.
Was harsh, the ball was being rolled to him and the keeper was moving from his left to his right so Borini tried putting it back where he came from where he'd be off balance. Think Fowler exaggerated saying was a huge gap to the keepers right... he was near enough bang in the middle of the goal!
He also could have been straight reded for the Vidic style rugby tackle on Sterling earlier in the game Ref did a total bottle job and was caught on mic admitting to Lennon he'd wrongly given a free kick in the middle of the pitch Liverpool's way so he was making up for it

Only saw bits of the game but my thoughts are: - Sooner we get rid of Enrique and Johnson, the sooner we never have to rely up on them again. Absolutely dreadful footballers. - Lallana is coming back from injury so can give him some slack but yesterday highlights exactly why I do not rate him. Overplays, all style no substance, slows down the attack. To think, we turned down Shaqiri and Eriksen for him. - Can understand why we went with Markovic at wing back instead of Manquillo. Big fan of manquillo but it's not the right position for him. Could possibly shift him into RCB though. Very frustrating performance and it's simply not good enough.
Can't stand Lallana, such an average player. Just watching Coutinho play for 5 minutes and you can see the difference in the level players should be at playing for Liverpool.

Coutinho and Sterling are both better, were a fraction of the price and 5 years younger. Lallana is a decent squad player but I would still be disappointed with him even if we'd spent £15m instead of 25m.
