Interesting about the winners going into the CL. I didn't know that if the CL winners go in via their league position that the EL winners go into the groups rather than the play offs. Would really make no difference between coming 3rd or winning the EL if that's the case.
This is why stat lovers love them, they can make a player/team look great but tell you **** all about the performance
He proved a point with them, just quoting random stats means nothing. If i told you a player had 100% successful pass rate in a game you may take this as a great thing. Then if i told you he only made 5 passes all game, none further than 3 yards and four of them immediately put the player he passed to under so much pressure they lost the ball it might look a little different. Stats are for people grabbing at straws unless you can actually make a point with them
Go and sit on the naughty step, for someone who loves stats you have a very poor understanding of them, or you didn`t pay attention

Not quite in fact van gaal is neat as easy to wind up as uir.... He's kind of lucky his side is currently no threat to mourinho as I reckon the guy would be twisted up so bad he'd not know if he was coming or going
He is in a league way beyond Mourinho, ten years ago (before Jose lost it) it would have been a fun sideshow

His record suggest time after time he falls out at clubs with everyone so his abrasive nature in the end will mean he can be got at Mourinho has pelligrini round his little finger right now and is just having fun winding up refs so his players are likely to be given all sorts during the business end of the season
