They pass the ball really well Leverkusen. No one stands still after making the pass either which constantly creates space.
Think macallister is having a shocker so far. Don’t think Diaz is working down the middle. But generally an even game so far not creating many chances.
That's what I have been saying about us. You don't need to right like a mentalist to move 5 yards in way and the other to be an option. Just keep moving amd the passes are then on. Stand static and you are easily cut out of the game
Not seen Mac do much. Woukdnt say having a shocker just we haven’t gone through the middle of the midfield as all the attacks have gone wide. Mac and grav done ok defensively.
Had a couple of decent chances. Gakpo should be doing a lot better at the end there. Just smashed it straight at the keeper - beautiful ball wide from jones. Overral both teams pretty much cancelling each other out. Leverkusen pass and move very well but haven’t created anything yet while we’re better when hitting them on the break when their wing backs are pushed on leaving 3v3 at the back
not a thril a minute game by any means . Can we move please move Jones a bit deeper as he is better attacking when coming from deep
Macca is one paced. Not thriving in the game at all. If you want jones deeper then macca is the one to give way for szobo.
