The player just backed off and backed off when the ref was wanting him to approach for the card yeah, and a horribly cynical foul on Sadio who they seemed to be trying to get at.
I think they thought Mane was the player in our team who would react to their fouls so they could dive around when he retaliated and get him sent off. The stupid thing is when they bother playing football they are quite good at it.
