I'd wait for any sort of ball in air and I'd absolutely go through Jesus

he's now gone at vvd in the air and refs ignored it so as far as I am concerned it's a free hit next time and he won't be getting up again

So there is the evidence... the players haven't been fired up enough and therefore not giving their all. We were loads better after the Trent v Xhaka incident.

I just told my eldest that I'd be facing a lengthy ban if I were in that pitch, I'd ****ing snap Jesus in two!

Despite the poor start, looking at Arsenal both today and in recent matches, there's still a result in this for us if we play this right tactically.

Whole of the Arsenal team has been trained to flop to the floor to break up play.

Only thing Arteta learnt from Pep.

I've always thought that we should one day erect a statue of Virgil at Anfield: Didn't think they'd do it today on the pitch. :bandit:

Bring on Nunez for Gakpo and Alcantara for Jones. If Nunez can keep his head, he will upset that Arsenal back line

Looking at second goal virgil can see Jesus as he runs back and really doesn't try donanything but Robertson can see it and and simply doesn't try. He had time to go to the danger

The crowd has woken up. Should now be a more competitive second half unless we start as the first.

Surprise surprise we started to play better once eveyone got a bit wound up and a bit more aggression.

Rather than being nice nice letting arsenal have the ball and knock it around at ease, TAA decided to show a bit of aggression and get close to martinelli. Hendo and fab got stuck in. And suddenly arsenal players start behaving in usual arteta way of faking over rolling around and crying injury.

Klopp just needs to say to TAA get aggressive in defence and get close and kick. Yes you may get done now and then by skill and movements but make it hard for them rather than stand 5 yards off and let them have s little run at you. He’s a far better defender when gets in close and actually forces a player to beat him

vvd has to take the blame. He had no one to mark but Jesus. He should have been side on so can see both the ball and man. Instead had his back to Jesus who just drifted off him. Really poor from vvd

Our whole back line is looking shocking, and it doesn't look like Allison is going to be the saviour today or once. I have no idea what Trent's position with and without the ball is supposed to.

Trouble is he already has a yellow and considering the play acting already you can be sure they would be flopping every time he went near them .

Robbo booked for being elbowed by the lino. Yet lino comes out and officiates the second half
