This is a killer match for me. I genuinely dislike liverpool for a variety of reasons. 1) They beat us 7 nil in 1978 and it was on the big match. Back then then there were 22 teams in the league and no live matches. The only football to be seen was Match of the Day and The Big Match. There were only highlights of 4 matches out of the 11 on a Saturday and this was one of them. Boy did the plastic twats in school give 11 yr old RCL a hard time. 2) I really fancied Anna Friel from Brookside but she never made herself Mrs RCL 3) My dumbass mother married a child beating Liverpool fan ... "moodum ****" ... apparently he once heard a Beatles record or something which meant he had to be a red. On the confession thread I admitted that in 1989 I was sharing a house with some mates and one was a lazy, annoying twat who supported liverpool although the closest he ever got to being a scouser was when he stole his dad's car stereo. Cos he was acting like the most arrogant twatty plastic mo fo imaginable I seriously celebrated Michael Thomas' winner. THAT'S HOW MUCH I DISLIKE THEM...and why I no longer puff or drink ! Obviously you lot are worse so back to my openning statement...this is a killer match for me. Sanchez is back to give you a boost. Courtinio is being held against his will in a boot room being forced to listen to the the Anfield Rap in an attempt to break his spirit. Arsenal have offered Oxlade-Chamberlain £125,000 per week to sign a new contract but, like Danny Rose, he wants to move up North ... and so, like Danny Rose, he is demanding a move to Chelsea. This is the third Arsenal match of the season all of which have been live on tv. It makes up part of what Sky are calling Super Sunday...along with West Brom v Stoke Robbie Fowler once scored a hattrick in just over 3 minutes and Arshavin once scored 4 at Anfield. Arsenal TV will go into meltdown in the event of a gooner defeat as the number of Blud, Fam and Bruv's go off the chart. Klopp will give his after match interviews looking as though he hasn'thad a dump in a fortnight if Liverpool lose. As klopp simply irritates me but Ty and co make me laugh I am hoping for a Liverpool win. Now I have to go and wash!
Nice write up RCL. I genuinely cant call this one. I feel Liverpool are just as inconsistent as us. If we dont improve from our first two games Pool will win for sure but Sanchez and Koscielney are back so that should make a major difference. Interesting to see Laca and Sanchez link up for the first time.
This one's pointing to an all action affair. Both sets of defence are as shaky as Stevens, and both teams like to attack. Hopefully rational doesn't prevail by good defending. Most likely result is a large score draw, but i'm hoping for a 8-7 victory.
Hoping for massive constipation face Klopp in the post match interview. With some teeth grinding for good measure.
This could go very badly wrong if AW ****s about with team selection - play CBs at CB, Monreal isn't good enough to be the lead CB Hopefully Sanchez plays alongside La Cassette as that would be tasty. Ozil needs to start playing better.
We have to go with our strongest line up. That means koscielny at CB, Monreal LWB, Sanchez and Lacazette to start up front
In a way I hope the Ox is "undecided" and wenger benches him because that will restore balance in the team.... Bellerin must then be a right back, lwb will open up and hopefully we can see the beast on the left and Montreal behind him.
I wonder how long before Bellerin says to Wenger he wants to go because he wants to play on the right?
Last 2 away games against liverpool we always concede in the first 20min.....and apparently against Firmino! 4th of March Firminio 9min 13 Jan 2016 Firmino 10min, 19min
Is Wenger trying to do things the hard way and have our players in wrong positions or not playing our strongest lineup? Doesn't he know we are playing a tough Liverpool side away? Strange.
Gary Neville showing more passion commentating than our players. What's happened to them, they look hungover from a prostitutes convention in Bangkok.
