Tough result, but we got everything to play for on Tuesday, hence our best player was rested for 45 mins today, Wenger really going all out for the CL this season, what a man.

Have to say when I saw Sanchez on the bench I thought 'contract games'. Seriously why was he left out? Is it due to not signing a new contract? Have him and wenger had a falling out? Surely it couldn't have been tactics or resting him?!

Does not make any sense to leave your best player out for the big games.

Does any of Wenger's decisions make sense anymore? Why the **** does Iwobi start every game? What the **** does Perez have to do to get a start? Why has he not shot Coquelin yet? But even for Wenger, not starting your best player in a big game is utterly baffling.

It was good to see Welbeck starting, and that was justified with his goal. But the decision to leave Sanchez out was just ****ing stupid.

Totally agree on Iwobi and Perez.
As I've said before Perez needs to move on to a club that will appreciate his skills and give him regular first team football.
Iwobi hasn't been on form for a number of games but Wenger can't seem to see it.

    Glad I missed todays match.

Wengers teams cant actually win big games against good sides anymore. Certainly not when the pressure is on anyways.

Was confident about today's match. We'll lose next week against Burnley though.

**** knows what Wenger was thinking leaving Sanchez on the bench. Not do I understand him taking Welbeck off.

Is there more to the story of Wenger dropping Sanchez to the bench? The decision made no sense. We needed to get a result and have our best 11 against a tough Liverpool side away. Sanchez is better than anyone we have on the pitch and he benched him? Was Sanchez tired from playing fetch with his two labradors?

This also makes me wonder what happened to Ozil now, was he really unwell?

Even the biggest Wenger supporters will find this baffling. It's like dropping Henry to the bench against Man U at Old Trafford. Bizarre.

How's that keeper of yours, still better than de Gea or has Randolf put him back in the box?

Post match interview, Arse said Sanchez had a knock during training.

why is everyone on his case??

Now you are perfectly set for the onslaught to make 4th and that will seem like Arsene has pulled off an impossible accomplishment / miracle.
Guess he has just managed the expectations perfectly.
    Classic!

Jose would have taken you into top 2, if De Gea had been his usual self.
    Sub par.

    You never won it.
Yes you got us Top 4 21 times.
    You won't this year.
Arsene Wenger thanks for all the great memories, please just go.

If this was released as a single, it would peak at no.4.

No one expected the result because we did Arsenal double last during the time of Houllier.
Wenger game plan was not right. I wish you beat Bayern Munich 5:0:emoticon-0148-yes:.

I think you'll find most Arsenal fans expected the result.
