I can understand that. Would be hard for me to write FavoUrite, that extra U would throw me off.

Just shows we made things better, easier to use....

Why does Suarez have to appear in every thread <doh>

From a pure footballing/commercial point of view this would make sense. India, one of the biggest countries in the World and is a completely untapped market in terms of talent & marketing. It's population is just over 1billion, even if you get 0.5% of people supporting Liverpool that's 5million fans, more than in the whole of the UK.

Add to the fact that due to the size of it there are bound to be some naturally talented footballers there, then you'd think and hope that we'd be able to help develop that and have first dibs on anyone coming through the academy. If they're good and then play for Liverpool you'd then get even more fans from there.

There's a growing trend to write 'in' American here too, so ....ize is being preferred to ....ise - for example.

So ... India and football, not a country you associate the game with. They've had a national side since 1948 - who knew.

Weren't we supposed to have developed links with Uruguay a while back. Wonder how that's going.

I think it's great that the club are reaching out to these countries even if it's just as a charitable thing Don't know if we can see any real benefits here from the links though.

Yes... but the Indian team all hold hands and chant "kabbadhi" over and over again and every time one of them is fouled in the oppositions half he is removed from the game
