No but clowns like Ricky Tomlinson, Jamie Carragher, Cilla Black and John Bishop hardly help the scouse stereotype.

Scousers do have an distinct look, you can spot them a ruddy mile off. Genuine story, I was in a bar in Leeds recently and said "that lot over there look like scousers", so I walk past them to the pisser and sure enough they were. It's all dark hair, teeth, ears and shifty eyes - often very rat-like. It's odd how Suarez fits in with it perfectly as well.

And please dont sully this by bringing in a lazy, Harry Enfield element to it.

I'm a little surprised that the actions of these Liverpool 'toughs' has created such a furore, tbh.

Two broken windows is nowt serious in real terms - we had two deaths in Hull in the last few days, now that's serious.

Compared to the Anfield and Goodison of the 70s/80s this is negligible.

Perhaps the reason this story is doing the rounds is that there's very little news at this time of the year, and it's often being reported by young journos who haven't been round the block.

Liverpool has some of the meanest streets in Britain, and many of them are in Walton, Anfield, Kirkdale etc near the ground. Not everyone is a John Bishop or Paul O'Grady.

The last thing we need is for our club and fans to be seen screeching about trivial matters such as these.

We have far bigger issues to worry about at present.

Sunderland coaches were bricked recently in a similar pre-arranged ambush that left people, with young children, frightened and coaches damaged.

The hooligans attempted to get onto the bus to attack people.

Liverpool is one of the scummiest away matches in the Premier League ............ disgusting people in my experience.

It's so trivial it's just been on NorthWest Tonight. They showed the bricks and the windows. A witness said that someone who tried to stop the attack had a large lump of concrete thrown at them from a close distance. The report said there were about twenty people who attacked the coach, which was the last one in the convoy. We saw it before it set off. The BBC showed it having ALL of its windows replaced.

    Really??

I must admit I'm surprised you're surprised that chinese take aways are run by chinese people <ok>

As for the bus attack....it can't have been LFC fans as none of us live in the city (apparently). Must be members of The Peoples Club of Judea bricking things and letting their little doggies poo everywhere :) Happy to clear that one up (pun intended).

Just as a little aside.....next time any of you lovely fans visit the fine city of Liverpool make sure your coach driver knows the way back to the M62 <ok> Driving up Townsend takes you to the 58.....no need to thank me lads, just thought you might like some info from a friendly Norwegian.

    Where did I say that?

Here in Hull, we have fish and chip shops AND chinese takeaways.

Here in Liverpool.....we have the same. How bizarre eh.

Indeed we even have chinese takeaways run by chinese people, in fact we have a very sizeable chinese population no doubt due to the disgusting nature of our city and its inhabitants......who runs your chinese takeaways just out of interest?
