Routine win. Southampton didn't get going 2bd half. Great result. One of the 9 wins needed. Come on West Brom I say.
1st half was a bit crap, 2nd half was very good. Controlled the game and probably should have had some more goals. Lets hope the chavs continue to stumble
So who from the reserves deserved to step up to the first team? Lemina looked the one to me. Very comfortable on the ball, went past players and moved it well. Can’t see him being at saints next year.
Thought 2nd half midfield were good. Stayed goal side and just kept things solid. Didn’t need to do anything spectacular to break them down. Thought milner and Lallana did well when came on. Lallana was unlucky not to score but kept ball moving.
Great win. Totally dominated the Saints and fully deserved. They were toothless without a front man as they passed theball around. They didn’t look like scoring if the match lasted 24 hrs. With the mancs losing unexpectedly this is an important win. Let’s hope for a WBA win! Or at least a draw tomorrow.
