The correct answer is that United have the better midfield unit. It aint pretty, it aint special but it gets the job done much better than Liverpools.

What exactly has Aquilani done for Liverpool since joining. He is an atrociously overrated player and I wouldn't sign him for a bag of crisps. Fletcher is a fantastic player who never stops working for the United team. And Carroll better than Rooney? That is such a joke it doesn't even need refuting
I'm sorry, what Liverpool midfielder is better than what we have? Gerrard would get into our team, but he wouldn't be first choice. Our unit is far, far better than most in the League, as shown the way we controlled Chelsea for 85% of our 4 games we played against them this season.

Why would you play a wide player through the middle as lone striker? It does not make sense. Nani and Suarez are the two best wide players in the league.
