Dfer. World Cup is in Qatar, not Dubai. I know, I live in Dubai and they would be making a god awful fuss about it. Lots of questions being asked about it all though but nothing to do with match fixing.

This investigation isn't the be and end all of the corruption. It is the tip of the iceberg. These 380 games are only the one they have evidence of after closing in on one betting ring. Just the one. Get rid of all these silly notions that only 'dodgy' Eastern European clubs or Italian teams are involved.

What we have is proof that corruption goes up right up to the highest level of the game. Dubai hosting the world cup. Really? There is more to come, whether the will is there to dig further and into 'Venerable' institutions remains to be seen. What we can't let happen is for this present investigation to be used as a milksop and convince everyone the job has been done.
