Salah looks like he's gained a yard of.pace back as well. Just looks far fitter after a nice "rest" over the summer aka posing for 6 pack pics and training like a lunatic

So pre season pretty much done.

Haven’t seen any full games but only from wht seen/read

Going to be plenty more playing out from the back. Should open spaces in midfield but also may end up with us giving away possession a bit. Need fans not to get bogged down in that for first 1/2 of season while players get used to it.

Seems much more 4231 so should have plenty numbers in and around the box at times.

Jota if he can stay fit could be a huge player. Seems perfect for slots 9 and despite his size, his strength makes up for it and still the best finisher in the squad.

Salah looks well rested albeit hasn’t shone in pre season. Saving it for the big games?

Diaz was apparently sharp today - could be his make or break season. Needs to be hitting 20 goal involvements to nail down his place.

Nyoni looks ready for some cup appearances and by end of the season could be knocking on the door. Kid looks composed and has the ability.

Quansah first choice cb alongside vvd and it’s his spot to lose after pre season now.

Pass pass. Go nowhere. Pass Pass. Crowd gets annoyed and impatient.

Thats the trap cos they only want to attack wide and cross really.

    Stand by

This is about to get fiesty.

Same old thing. You get some **** side who never get to play real teams often out to make a name and go sliding in the shoving people and acting the cock in a behind closed door friendly.

So this game shows up quite a few issues.

    1. Endo is on his own playing in front of back 4 as jones seems to have wandered off so there's far less control.

    2. Intensity is miles off game 1.

    3. Passing is far slower.

    4. Press is actually less but Las palmas passing is better than sevilles.

    5. Back line looks unbalanced as bradly is also 5 to 10 yards ulfurther up so not in the same spot when we have it as a slot full back should be.

Nunez is already showing why jota is vital. Lol.

    Yeah

    Very flat game.

    A couple.look disinterested almost.

I think we can already say that barring a signing the team that started.v seville will be the first team for the first few games.

Nunez is tragically poor compared to the show Jota put on

    1 goals v betis
    2 v arsenal
    3 v united
    4 v sevilla

Dno how we’ve scored these goals by passing it and going nowhere but should be exciting season if we start passing and going somewhere in that case!

Pass until they come.out of shape then go quick and wide. That's the model

Did you see any of the goals above.

For example carvalhos first v utd which was woeful defending and a poor shot.

Two of tje goals today was a simple ball over top after seville pushed too far up pressing. That's the idea. We will pass it, you press us. The space is then crested.

The cbs today were pushed right up when thry retreated compressing seville in and we passed and passed and passed u til tjry made that gap

Phillips and endo, Jones going too far up too soon and not driving the play.

Elliott is head and shoulders above the others as he's busy.

Gakpo is Miles off the intensity today.

Nunez is tragic. Trying far too hard at the wrong times and not hard enough where it counts.

With the crowd our front 3 were buzzing about and importantly imo gravenberch and macallister were playing fast and largely in control

Really the shape in this game compared to the last one is massive.

Scanlon didn't go on the tour and just game on there and he's ran off miles up the park there rather than getting the line going with the two play making cms in front.

But **** me nunez has been absolutely bloody awful.

So it’s not pass pass pass go no where.

it’s pass pass, draws teams out and create space and then speed things up to find the ball into the spaces so can get turned and run at them.
