I don't think I'd be looking to the law to sort it out Fingy.

You can't legislate against giving offence. You can for inciting violence. This twat gave genuine offence and is going to suffer for it, without the help of the law.
    Big Vern. Oops.

i think this hate comes from the munich 58 plain crash ,and the other clubs used to sing songs about this to infuriate the manx so now the manx sing about hillsborough, its completely sick to make fun of these sort of events

"Move on" is not going to happen because as a result of the unlawful killing verdict, policemen could face criminal charges. The Crown Prosecution Service is currently considering this, and of course, if charges are brought, it will give this matter fresh legs...

...and the police defendants may well become the new victims

We can arrest a man for displaying a message about Hillsborough.

We can't arrest a Muslim for displaying a message about lobbing UK soldiers heads off.

Very true.......but imo the mentality of a lot of fans at the time and the fences/pens etc, it was only a matter of time that a tragedy happened and unfortunately its boring now....I was going to a lot of Rangers games about this time and being pelted with bricks at Maine Road comes to mind c.1987....when the Police did absolutely nothing for 90 minutes when we tried to get out of our pen....Not the same I know but the one thing to come out of this is all seating Stadiums and safety.

Yes, it's good to be reminded of the dark side of the game in the 60's, 70's and 80's, and how much progress has been made. You really feel youngsters go to games now, interested on what's happening on the pitch. (Millwall fans excepted).

I hope all fans attending the European Championship interact in a spirit of goodwill.

So do I and I think the vast majority of fans attending will be well behaved. I think the security will be extremely tight due to the terrorism threat and there will be very little opportunity for anybody to misbehave. I expect the French cops will be **** hot to stamp out any disorder.
