Do we take us being even mentioned as a mark of respect? To be fair all their comments are fair bar the one you mentioned. I thought they'd get 4th but Spurs have looked stronger than I thought. maybe my hatred of saggy face is clouding my judgement on them

Spurs should get 4th if they're battling for it with Liverpool.

Goalkeepers = Friedel and Reina are both awesome.

Defence = Neither team has much to shout about to be honest. I'd put Man Utd's, Man City's and Chelsea's defences far ahead of both Spurs and Liverpool.

Centre midfield = Spurs have a much better CM in VDV, Modric and Parker. Any combo of them.

Wingers = Tricky one! I'd say Downing is better than Bale, but that's all I could compare.

Strikers = Suarez and Adebayor are probably on-par. As for Defoe and Carroll, it all depends on whether Carroll starts scoring more.

All in all, whilst there isn't much in it, Spurs probably edges it in most categories, so I'd expect them to do a little better.

Reina for me. Defenders, not much in it but Spurs have greater depth. Midfield not much in it but I think Spurs can field the stronger one in Lennon, Bale, Modric, Parker. Striker wise I'd consider VDV as a 2nd striker. Nothing in it between Carroll/Suarez and Adebayor/VDV but the latter are more experienced. i think I like Spurs for 4th unless Stevie Me has an unbelieveable season.

    This

I think that Spurs have a stronger squad, however, they also have to cope with the demands of the Europa league and this may have an affect.

    Reina
    Walker - King - Gallas - Enrique
    Downing - Modric - Gerrard - Bale
    Defoe - Suarez

7 Spurs players, 4 bin dippers = Spurs to finish above Liverpool.......but below us :D

    You'd put Assou-Ekotto above Enrique?

Also, personally I'd put Adebayor above Defoe for an Adebayor/Suarez partnership. Lethal.

Chelsea will buy Suarez in January, and all the scousers will send him death threats. Although that might make them go after Benny or Cabaye
