Fair point. They'll have sold goofy to Madrid and spent the wedge on 2 Aspas's, a Sakho and another Joe Allen
Wtf are you on about. It has nothing to do with any disaster so why should it evoke emotions about disasters. You, like them make no sense.
When you have a quiet moment think about it, you may see that many meanings can be read into this chant, you may even have the good sense to realise why many find it offensive Just a question for you, when opposition supporters make plane noises and hold there arms out like wings when they play United do you think they are displaying the fact that our team are flying in the league?
Maybe you missed this part: "It is of course possible that Liverpool might make sufficient profit this season to bring them back into FFP compliance and seemingly escape punishment altogether" It seems your intimate knowledge of LFC accounts extends even to future earnings and sales if you think the only debate is when LFC are punished
I am sure the supporters of the club that booed a minute silence for Hillsborough at Wembley know exactly what the chant means and its the reason they chant it. Acting dumb doesn't work very well for the Chelsea supporters in this case.
I would not judge any individual by the behaviour of others unless they did or said something conclusive to prove me wrong
You are being stupid. Everyone knows that Munich is referee to by the plane stuff but we also know never the victim has nothing to do with a disaster so stop trying to make a link that doesn't exist.
Just like you don't speak on behalf of all Chelsea supporters the posters on that thread don't speak on behalf of all Utd supporters. Its all down to the individual's sense of dignity and restraint.
Not a biased website or anything You really do drag this site down, hopefully something can be done That phrase "Always the Victim" is a reference to more than one incident, hence why the term always is used. If the song was used only for the Evra/Suarez affair, then why is it always? Like I say, hopefully something will be done about users like you
Can't speak for all supporters but I never associate 'always the victim...' with the tragedies, especially not Hillsborough. Anyway, I much prefer the 'outraged by everything...' phrase.
No because you're not flying in the league Me neither, but to be fair I can see where the connotations come from and if someone takes offense to something on a matter that sensitive then I won't say it.
"might" As always I based my opinion on what facts are available & in this case, the likelihood of you turning this around in the current financial year is somewhat reduced by the fact that in the current set of accounts it mentions an additional £53m of player spending from last summer, that isn't in the last set, ergo it's in the current one. So you're £53m down before you turn the lights on....
