I agree, no body can tell if they're good signings or not until you have seen them. But I doubt SAF would have sold them if they were still good players. It seems you are doing what we did 5 years ago, give ageing past there best players big packages to see out the rest of their career, with their heart left behind, just picking up their wage. And after a year it is extremely difficult to get rid of them, trust me!

Im sorry if I came across as a wum. But im not. As for being bitter, I have nothing to be bitter about. Your club has done really well in the transfer market, with in my opinion your best signing being Vaughan. I was generally guttered when you signed him, he controlled the game when we played at Blackpool- brilliant player! Wickham looks a good signing too and should 'blossom' in a few years time.

quality player and has been briliant for Juventus by all acounts. At Liverpool the lad was unlucky with injuries, when he did play to be fair the large majority were pretty harsh on the lad as when I seen him he seemed to create chances.
Cannot see it happening he will be on huge wages.
