Liverpool cant get big name players

I think Sturridge has always had that problem. He sees himself as the main man, regardless of who's ahead of him. It was a big problem for him at City and Chelsea, and pretty much the reason he failed at both of those clubs.

He was alright for you last season and the start of this season, when he was the number 1 striker. But now Suarez is scoring for fun he's starting to get antsy again. I think he's one of those players who'll never be happy as number 2 striker wherever he goes and so can cause a bit of trouble for clubs - same reason Welbeck is usually preferred over him for England cos he's willing to support the rest of the team rather than playing for himself.

 

So why did he agree a contract with us? Had his head turned by money not love or hate of any club - yet another mercenary.
