Even if this is the Mancs trying to pile the pressure on; I trust Kenny will set the record straight. The main way pressure hasn't gone to the Mancs is because they motivate themselves, the harder the work the more wages they get. Personally it's something I'd like to us introduce. I hate to see the likes of Jovanovic on 90k a week; when Lucas is probably on the same wage. If Lucas (for example) has a good week he should get 120k, if he makes a blunder the next week then drop it to 50k. Considering all players seem to be after these days is money, it should be quite an incentive.
You shouldn't use Roy Keane as an example.He walked out on his country before a world cup. He also abused his manager in such a way if he had done it to say Alex Ferguson or Bill Shankly or Brian Clough or Kenny Dalglish for that matter,He would have got more than a telling off....he would have been put in intensive care.He was lucky it was McCarthy he abused.Anyway Keane hasn't got a full deck.He's 2 sambos short of a picnic.
I don't think Rooney said any of that to be honest.I reckon it came from his press department as Rooney can't use big words like ''and'' and ''the'' due to his learning difficulties...he can't read or write.
