The international benefit is something to consider, could the FA come up with a new competition to get a better youth structure?
I think you mean it would benefit the national team, it would destroy the national game as we know it since a lot of the lower teams would be forced further down the leagues and eventually go bust too.
You're picking on me today aren't you! But yeah you're right - I meant the national team. Playing Devil's Advocate now but it may improve the national GAME as well. The Football League is more quantity than quality in my opinion and I think having the B teams may help improve the quality of football. It may force the lower teams raise their respective games or instead of going bust, you could amalgomate local clubs therefore combining resources? The benefits for the bigger clubs and the national game are huge but I think it could help the smaller clubs as well?
The smaller clubs are already struggling because they are trying to raise their game, having B teams would make it worse. There would be a clear benefit to the bigger sides that have a B team but I think it is very disrespectful to the lower sides to contemplate doing this. Edit: Not picking on you pal. Boards are very quiet today so maybe it just seems like it? No offence intended anyway
At least you lot have relegation and promotion! After a successful year it is almost like 50 card pick up, teams just start a new and players just get moved all over the place. i think the B teams would be good to be honest.
If liverpool go down this year to the championship, not inconceivable as you will be playing this season like we were last season, the rest of the Premier league will have already sussed you out before the season starts, you could be our b team, next season. what do you think
